CLAW – The Movie

I had the pleasure of filming the beautiful and crazily named League of Upper Extremity Wrestlin’ Women of Durham. The men and women of LUEWWD (pronounced “lewd”, get it?)we incredibly hospitable, putting us up for the night and showing us an amazing time. C-Ville Knievel and The Schoolmarm were there as well, representing for Charlottesville.

Yay, we met our Kickstarter goal, and will be able to not go into debt as badly making the movie! Wait, it really is awesomer then it sounds. Thanks to everyone who gave. You all are really really cool.

C-Ville did a nice writeup of our progress on the documentary. Pretty cool.

The owner of Openspace, and my good friend, Jeff Gunther, has agreed to match all donations to our kickstarter campaign. If you are interested in seeing a Ladies Arm Wrestling Documentary (and who isn’t), then now is the time to give and make your money work overtime.

We had an amazing time taking images and making video of the 5 Borough Ladies Arm Wrestling league. It was their first match, and they did very well, raising hundreds of dollars for Safe Horizon. Nice work, and thanks for putting us up, and putting up with us.

To hype Charlottesville’s Lady Arm Wrestling match this weekend. Brian Wimer, Jennifer Tidwell, some freaks and I made a strange video. I hope you all enjoy it.

I am so excited. Within one week, we are a third of the way towards making our kickstarter minimum of $5000. Thanks to everyone for supporting us! For those of you in Brooklyn, there is an event this Sunday. Come see us, and, rumor has it, The Today Show, there.
